Aoi Shouta is a singer and seiyuu who was born in Fukui Prefecture, Japan.
Aoi, whose real name is Shouta Yanagawa, was born on August 11, 1987 in Fukui, Japan. In 2005, he signed a contract with King Records, and debuted under the name SHOWTA with the single “Negaiboshi” on July 26, 2006. In 2008, he also debuted as a musical actor in the play Fruits Basket where he played Saki Hanajima .
In 2009, he decided to continue his career as an anime singer and voice actor, so on January 14, 2010, he chose not to renew his contract with King Records. In 2010, he began his singing career under the name Noboru Ryugaki.
In 2011, he returned as “Shouta Aoi” represented by S agency, and debuted as a voice actor for a minor character in the Black Robinia game. In October, he played Ryunosuke Matsushita in the anime Kimi Boku, in which he also sang the soundtracks “Sora”, “Tomorrow” and “Over”.
